It’s time to party like twenty-year-olds! That’s right, since 1993 … it’s been twenty fantastic years of bier-tapping boot-drinking sausage-eating good friend-making San Francisco Super-Wirtshaus style! This year we come to dance dressed as Gnomes (Gartenzwerg). Our regular service is cancelled (and our Biergarten will closed for the party[ing] at Suppenküche) – we have a special menu, special bier, special music, special T-shirts, special gifts, special decor and special friends. As always, everyone is welcome, so stop in, share some fun and toast the next twenty(thousand) years!

STARTING WED MARCH 13TH: In coordination with longer days, warmer weather – and the odd modern convention of ‘daylight-savings time’ – Biergarten will alter its Wed.-Sat. opening and closing times after March 13th, beginning and ending one hour later …

Wednesday through Saturday change to: 3:00pm – 9:00pm
Sunday stays the same: 1:00pm – 7:00pm

It’s February. So, once again it’s time for Beer Week in San Francisco (Feb. 8th- 17th). For the forth year in a row Suppeküche and now Biergarten have partnered with world-class Bavarian Weisses Bräuhaus G. Schneider & Sohn

Suppeküche will host a Schneider Bier inspired menu on Wednesday the 13th of February. Each food item will be paired with an offering from the Schneider range of wheat beers. An amazing special treat at Suppenküche the night of the 13th is a chance to taste Schneider’s ultra-super-rare (only 120 bottles total in the U.S.) red wine barrel aged Aventinus Eisbock: Eisbock Barrique, 12%ABV! Also on offer is the only slightly less rare: Mein Cuvee Barrique, 9.5%ABV (a red wine barrel aged blend of Aventinus and Aventinus Eisbock), as well as the unique Schneider Weizenbock: Nelson Sauvin, 7.3%ABV.

Biergarten will have (for the first time on draft) Schneider’s Doppelbock Weisse Bier: Aventinus, 8.2%ABV, avaliable during SF Beer Week. A special beer in- spired menu item will also make the scene: Aventinus brined and glazed Prather Ranch beef short rib sliders! Yes.

Every Wednesday at the Biergarten we are serving 1/2 pound (Prather Ranch) 100% Grass Fed Beef Hamburgers. Each week will showcase a different burger configuration on an organic bun, baked fresh daily by Firebrand Artisan Breads.

Enjoy the day in German style – we start the celebration at noon at Suppenküche and 3:00 at the Biergarten. We have a very special Oktoberfest bier selection, traditional food and new T-Shirts.
