3RD ANNUAL FIRE BRUNCH

In the heart of the city, in the heart of Hayes Valley, in the heart of the Proxy Project … Come out to eat, drink, celebrate and support the Renaissance of our renaissance-neighborhood. With help from you and all our friends … proceeds from the brunch will benefit the Hayes Valley Neighborhood Association. Let’s keep this the best little neighborhood in the universe!

AT BIERGARTEN SATURDAY MAY 18 AT NOON 2013

It’s time to enjoy a Fire* Brunch … As the story goes the great fire that engulfed San Francisco just after the 1906 earthquake began by accident in Hayes Valley – the result of preparing a Breakfast of ham and eggs over a cook-stove with a damaged chimney. In honor of this unique history our Valley takes time in May to come together to build a stronger neighborhood and eat brunch.

SUPPENKÜCHE’S 20TH

20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY, THURS MAY 16

It’s time to party like twenty-year-olds! That’s right, since 1993 … it’s been twenty fantastic years of bier-tapping boot-drinking sausage-eating good friend-making San Francisco Super-Wirtshaus style! This year we come to dance dressed as Gnomes (Gartenzwerg). Our regular service is cancelled (and our Biergarten will closed for the party[ing] at Suppenküche) – we have a special menu, special bier, special music, special T-shirts, special gifts, special decor and special friends. As always, everyone is welcome, so stop in, share some fun and toast the next twenty(thousand) years!

BE HERE: THURSDAY MAY 16TH (5:00PM till LATE)

SF Beer Week 2013 at Suppenküche and Biergarten, Feb. 8th-17thclick image for gallery

SF BEER WEEK 2013

It’s February. So, once again it’s time for Beer Week in San Francisco (Feb. 8th- 17th). For the forth year in a row Suppeküche and now Biergarten have partnered with world-class Bavarian Weisses Bräuhaus G. Schneider & Sohn

Suppeküche will host a Schneider Bier inspired menu on Wednesday the 13th of February. Each food item will be paired with an offering from the Schneider range of wheat beers. An amazing special treat at Suppenküche the night of the 13th is a chance to taste Schneider’s ultra-super-rare (only 120 bottles total in the U.S.) red wine barrel aged Aventinus Eisbock: Eisbock Barrique, 12%ABV! Also on offer is the only slightly less rare: Mein Cuvee Barrique, 9.5%ABV (a red wine barrel aged blend of Aventinus and Aventinus Eisbock), as well as the unique Schneider Weizenbock: Nelson Sauvin, 7.3%ABV.

Biergarten will have (for the first time on draft) Schneider’s Doppelbock Weisse Bier: Aventinus, 8.2%ABV, avaliable during SF Beer Week. A special beer in- spired menu item will also make the scene: Aventinus brined and glazed Prather Ranch beef short rib sliders! Yes.
