Both the Suppenküche and our Biergarten WILL BE OPEN!
– Let’s celebrate this holiday devoted to workers’ rights in America. Attributed to Peter McGuire, a carpenter in New York who brought together 100,000 workers to successfully strike for better conditions and pay. He continued to fight for the people, for more than a decade, until the “Labor Day” holiday (the first Monday in September) was ratified by Congress in 1884. Let us toast this small victory! To all of the workers working on all that work! September is a hell of a month.
