The Phil Wood memorial bicycle-bird – leading the image for gallery

On March 14th we lost an icon in the world of cycling, Phil Wood (born July 9th, 1926 in Kingstown, Indiana). He is the man responsible for inventing sealed hubs and bottom brackets, as well as creating some of the most beautiful, the most loved and undoubtably the best made bicycle hardware in the world. We have specially painted and proudly hung one of our Radvögel (bicycle-birds) in his honor. Thank you Phil, you and your creations are amazing, you will be missed.
